PORTRAITS FORMER MAYOR OF UTRECHT ALEID WOLFSEN

Last summer I joined the competition to portray the Mayor of the city Utrecht. Today installed his portrait and the study I painted of the Mayor in the City Hall. Starting tomorrow you can go there and see all different portraits of the Artists that joined the competition. Unfortunately they didn't choose my work. My goal was to win this competition so my work would hang next to my great inspiration of the last century 'Isaac Israels' a very famous Dutch painter I admire.
