Originally educated as an industrial designer Anneke started to paint next to her job as a designer. Later on she came to the conclusion that after all she's a painter.
PAINTING THE BEAUTY 'I always get excited of the colors I see around me, and the cloudy Dutch skies. I love to paint in the open field or at the beach. The best studio you can have as a painter is outside. You will just see and experience more. PRESSURE COOKER I like to paint under a little time pressure. Working outdoors with the changing light and circumstances, helps you to concentrate and work hard to capture the moment. Which hopefully turns out into a great painting. LOVING NATURE I love to contribute and show people the beauty of nature again. Painting outdoors sometimes makes people look in the same direction I do. I hope this will help /make people realize the beauty out there. You can enjoy nature for free every time you are out in the open and start looking. with Love, Anneke van der Lende |

" This is a stalwart painter: with red pants and sweater, legs wide, braced in the wind she is painting. She also paints stalwart paintings, shells fishermen during dark weather. A pretty stalwart painting. She also paints very poetic, the three children of beachhouse 'Starfish' : a very sympathetic work. The jury finds her subjects good captured. "
